Learning Disabilities

Herts Homecare has a person-centred approach to service users with learning difficulties. We support them to take control of their own lives in order to achieve the outcomes they so desire. We achieve this by constantly listening and learning from individuals as to what is important to them, both now and in the future.

Our staff are trained to understand how a service user’s disability can impact on their lives in terms of communication, social interaction and day to day living. We devise the care plans with our service users and their families or representatives focusing on their abilities and aspirations.

We aim to provide care and support for our service users so that they can live their lives the way they want to.
